- Registered Professional Engineer, (PE), licensed in Washington State
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- President of Apex Safety, Inc., with an extensive history of providing safety training and consultation, accident investigation, safety program development and site inspections
- Field Engineer on large scale construction projects
- Design Engineer for civil engineering projects
- Safety Director for large union contractor
- Over 30,000 hours of conducting safety training in 26 states and other countries
- 20 years as Course Director at the OSHA Region X Education Center
