QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

Kurt Stranne is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington and is a Certified Safety Professional.   Mr. Stranne is the owner of Apex Consulting Engineers, LLC, providing construction safety consultation and engineering design.  As the Director of Construction Safety Services at a large Seattle based consulting firm, he led a team of safety consultants and safety trainers.  Mr. Stranne served as the Project Engineer and Safety Officer for a large construction contractor. Mr. Stranne is an authorized OSHA Construction and General Industry Outreach instructor, and has taught classes in twenty states and other countries.  He has been requested many times as an expert witness in court cases.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Apex Consulting Engineers, LLC, Owner.  Services provided include state and federal regulatory compliance consultation, site inspections, certification and specialized training, develop accident prevention programs, accident investigation and engineering design in the Pacific Northwest.   Manage workers compensation claims for several companies.  Expert witness for court cases.

OSHA Training Institute, University of Washington, Course Director and Lead Instructor for the OSHA 3010, Trenching, Excavation and Soil Mechanics and the OSHA 3110 Falll Arrest Systems for OSHA Region X.  Frequent instructor in Construction, General Industry   and Industrial Hygiene courses.

Prezant Associates, Inc., Director of Construction Safety Services and Trainer.   Jobs included managing a staff of safety consultants and safety trainers providing services nation wide. He served as the safety consultation project manager on large scale demolition projects, multi-family housing construction and manufacturing.

Wilder Construction Company, Project Engineer and Safety Officer. Jobs included large scale excavation, demolition, sheetpile installation, underground storage tank removal, utility installation and hazardous waste remediation. Duties included project setup, field engineering, client relations, scheduling and managing Safety Programs on jobs as large as  30 million dollars.

OTHER EXPERIENCE

United States Air Force, Crew Chief. Provided supervision to over one hundred maintenance technicians performing aircraft inspection, repair and servicing on the C-17 aircraft.  Awarded Supervisor of the Year for the Air Force Reserve Command for the year 2000.  Retired with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.
